LAST MEETING/SERIES: The Red Raiders last defeated TCU in 2019 to win the Big 12 Championship. After dropping game one to the Horned Frogs 3-1 (14 inn.), Tech rebounded with a 7-2 win and clinched the series and the title with an 8-4 win as the Frogs left the bases loaded in the 9th. Tech has played TCU more than any other team in its history trailing 96-77-1 all time but holding a 41-37 edge in Lubbock.
LAST TIME OUT: Texas Tech dropped its first series falling to .500 in the Big 12 in Manhattan against K-State. The Red Raiders won 17-1 on Thursday, but dropped the following two 7-2 and 10-4.
