Alan Reifman, Ph.D.
Dr. Alan Reifman is a professor of Human Development and Family Sciences at Texas Tech University, where he has served on the faculty since 1997. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 1989 and his Bachelor’s degree from UCLA in 1984.
Alan teaches various courses including statistics, research methodology, and development during young adulthood. He has written two books, the textbook Journeys through Emerging Adulthood, and a sports book, Hot Hand, about streaks. He is also a proud member of the Society for American Baseball Research. Alan lives with his wife in Lubbock.
