David Collier has been a fixture in Lubbock sports for more than two decades. He returned to his role of sports director of Red Raider Nation in 2016 after a brief stint as co-anchor for KLBK News. David was there for the inception of Red Raider Nation, which is the most comprehensive television coverage of Texas Tech sports in the state.

After a brief stint away from television, David returned as the Director of Sports Content for EverythingLubbock.com.

During his time in Lubbock, David has covered the men’s basketball team’s run to the 2019 National Championship game, baseball’s four trips to the College World Series, and he was served as the host of “The Bob Knight Show” and “The Pat Knight Show” during their time with the men’s basketball program.

David’s first on-air job was at KMVT in Twin Falls, Idaho.

He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1999. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Karri, and children, Blair and Brooks.
