IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference and ESPN released the television schedule for 2023 Big 12 Baseball on Tuesday, February 7. In their release, the conference outlined 302 games that have been chosen for broadcast and of those, 47 will be aired on linear television. That simply means channels that can be accessed through a cable provider and not only on a streaming platform. The full schedule can be found here: Big 12 Conference (big12sports.com)
To break down the overall television locations:
36 games will be aired on LHN, accounting for all home games for the University of Texas. This includes Texas Tech’s series in Austin March 24-26.
Five regular season games will be aired on ESPNU, as well as four games of the Big 12 Tournament including the championship game.

- Kansas @ West Virginia: Sunday, April 9
- Baylor @ Texas Tech: Friday, April 21
- Texas @ TCU: Friday, April 28
- Texas @ TCU: Saturday, April 29
Texas @ Texas A&M, and Kansas @ Missouri will air on the SEC Network.
For the Red Raiders, fans will find the majority of games on Big 12 Now on ESPN+. All of Texas Tech’s home games will air on the streaming platform with the exception of the Friday night game against Baylor on April 21. That will be Tech’s only appearance on ESPNU in the regular season. Texas Tech boasts a heavier home schedule in 2023 due to the return trips in some home and home series, they are scheduled to play 36 games on Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park in the regular season.
Additionally, series at Oklahoma, Kansas State, West Virginia, and a midweek game at Abilene Christian will all be available on ESPN+. As mentioned above, the series at Texas will be available on The Longhorn Network. Television information for the Shriner’s Children’s College Classic at Minute Maid Park in Houston has not been announced. In years past those games have been broadcast on AT&T SportsNet SW, the television partner of the Houston Astros.
According to Texas Tech’s website, the Tuesday matchup with New Mexico in Albuquerque will air on the Mountain West Network, a free online platform. The Big 12 release also lists Pac-12 Bay Area and Pac-12 Insider as the broadcast locations for Texas Tech’s games at Stanford Monday, April 10, and Tuesday, April 11 respectively.
